It’s time to trade in the old crown-to-rump measurement for a new head-to-toe standard (that’s 15 inches this week–more than a foot long!). His weight is creeping up the chart, coming in at just over two pounds. More big news: Your baby may recognize you and your significant other’s voice by now, so feel free to serenade away!
Week 27 also marks the unofficial last week of the second trimester, meaning that we’re two-thirds of the way home starting next Monday.
So close..but yet so far.

From my perception time is flying by for you guys, but I remember when we were going through it it seemed to take forever. Once Parker is here time will start to fly, trust me!

I will say this, though, the second trimester went a lot faster than the first. I think going to the doctor had a lot to do with that. Rach didn’t visit the doctor until her 12th week…and now that we’re going every month, I feel like it’s going a bit quicker.
I’m sure the dog days of summer will be just delightful for her =)
