Wow, it’s been entirely too long since I’ve posted, but in my job it’s currently recruitment season, so I’ve been slammed with trips and football and other things.
But, I did get around to starting a website that will host all the pictures we take of Parker! It’s a nice and easy way to keep our families up to date on Parker’s ever-changing self.
Speaking of changing, Parker had his second pediatrician appointment, and was in the 80th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. He also had his first round of vaccinations, which he didn’t appreciate too much, but we know it’s all about keeping him safe and healthy. He’s been sleeping through most nights for over a month now, and is even starting to coo and ‘talk’ to us. It’s amazing the small changes that happen over time. Things that we don’t even have to worry about, but to a baby, it’s everything. Things like keeping your head up, or controlling your motor function (speaking of which, Parker is now reaching for toys and faces).
Last weekend we had him baptized and he did not move at all during the baptism, not even when water was poured on his head. It actually became a source of laughter for the priest and congregation, that our son was essentially comatose during his entire baptism.
But anyways, I plan to post more regularly now that everything is starting to wind down. Enjoy the fall weather!
